21 October 2008 London – ADERANT, a global provider of business and financial management software for law firms, today announced that the company has appointed David Thorpe to General Manager, EMEA.

As a senior executive, Thorpe will be responsible for managing ADERANT’s operations throughout the UK and Continental Europe, supporting sales, and interfacing with law firms and other professional services organisations.

Thorpe brings 28 years of senior management and legal industry experience with him to ADERANT.  He has extensive experience with legal information technology, including case, matter, and practice management systems and has worked closely with hundreds of law firms across the UK and Europe.

“I am very excited about the opportunity of joining such a dynamic organization as ADERANT,” said David Thorpe, General Manager, EMEA for ADERANT.  “ADERANT has the right strategy, the right solution, and the right approach to helping law firms succeed.  I feel I can help accelerate the company’s growth and make ADERANT the leading provider of business and financial management solutions to law firms throughout Europe.”
“We are pleased to welcome such a well-known and respected member of the legal IT community to ADERANT,” said Michael Kohlsdorf, President and Chief Executive Officer for ADERANT.  “David’s wealth of hands-on experience working with—and solving—the pressing business issues of European law firms will be a fantastic addition to Don Howren’s global sales and marketing team.  I am confident David will quickly be able to build upon our recent successes in the UK and Europe.”
