Courtroom Connect Announces the Appointment of New Chief Operating Officer Print

13 November 2008 - Atlanta, GA – Courtroom Connect, the leading provider of litigation support connectivity to the legal industry, announced today that Shelly Albaum has assumed the role of chief operating officer at the company.

Albaum began his duties in mid-September and brings extensive experience in the legal market to his new role.  As COO, Albaum is responsible for overseeing the operations of the company including the Content Services and Litigation Services business lines.

Prior to joining Courtroom Connect, Albaum spent 14 years at Thomson West in senior manager roles in product development, strategy, and business development.  He also served as VP and Publisher at Oxford University Press where he was instrumental in the growth of their U.S. Law Division.
 
Albaum earned his JD from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his BA from the University of California, Santa Cruz.  He was a member of the Minnesota Bar from 1991 to 2005 and is a member of the California Bar since 1990.
 
Albaum succeeds Louis Goldberg in this role.  Goldberg will continue to serve as an advisor and consultant to the company.
