| New CRM release further enhances user experience |

With the launch of the latest release of e1 Metis CRM from e1 Business, the user experience is at the forefront of CRM development. Using Web 2.0 and the RIA (Rich Internet Application) model, the latest version is both intuitive and forward-thinking. “The web user interface has been completely rewritten to modernise and substantially enrich the user experience, largely through the use of sophisticated Web 2.0 technology. This means that it has a modern look and feel and is actually ahead of most web applications in terms of functionality, whilst keeping the best bits from previous versions” comments Geof Gibbons, Managing Director at e1 Business. Simultaneously the Microsoft Outlook integration has been reworked to run on the server side and allows fee earners to operate from their familiar contact views in Outlook while maintaining full database integrity. Other key enhancements include improved integration with other applications using web services and time line visualisation, which brings to life flurries of activity with clients. e1 recently demonstrated the latest version of their Sage backed product to their professional services customers at their annual User Conference at the end of October and were thrilled at the reaction received. “They were blown away” comments Geof “It’s now a case of ‘when can we upgrade?’”. |
