Microsystems has expanded its document emergency support service for UK clients as the Chicago-based software provider also appoints Christine Vorderer as vice president of client services. The email based service has been extended by five hours a day, entailing the hire of one further assistant in the UK and one in the US. It now operates between 9am and 2am as opposed to 9pm. A spokeswoman for the company told Legal Technology Journal that the extended service was a result of its expanded UK client base. The service offers a two-hour turnaround on document issues relating to Word, WordPerfect and PDF documents, as well as template and macro packages. Meanwhile the company has also appointed former LexisNexis senior executive Christine Vorderer as vice president for client services. She replaces Chris MacRitchie, who has taken up the position of vice president of strategic products. Vorderer was formerly vice president for customer and partner services at LexisNexis InterAction and latterly InterAction product champion. |
