Digital Confidence Releases ConfidentSend 2.0 and BatchPurifier 2.0 Print

Digital Confidence, the leading provider of data leakage prevention (DLP), hidden data / metadata removal, and privacy software solutions, today announced the release of version 2.0 of its hidden data / metadata removal software products: ConfidentSendTM, which seamlessly integrates with Microsoft Outlook® 2003/2007 or with Mozilla ThunderbirdTM email clients, inspects and cleans the attachments of each and every outgoing email; and BatchPurifierTM which can remove hidden data from multiple files.

 

The new versions features improved user interface, and were added the ability to remove hidden data from PDF documents, AVI video files, and
WAV audio files. ConfidentSendTM has also been added with automatic hidden data removal capability and a whitelist feature to let the user
specify recipients for which email attachments should not be cleaned.

ConfidentSendTM and BatchPurifierTM are the most comprehensive hidden data removal solutions on the market today, capable of removing 33 types of hidden data from 14 file types, including Microsoft Office® documents, OpenOffice.org / StarOfficeTM documents, PDF documents, and
popular image and media file types such as JPEG, PNG, AVI, and WAV. Both products are able to remove hidden data from files even if they are
compressed within ZIP files.
