ILS Technologies, a leading provider of electronic data discovery processing and hosting services, announces the recent addition of two new, critical positions in response to the company’s recent growth. Legal industry veteran Rick Fort is serving as operations manager and Scott Shearer is now leading business development efforts.
Mr. Fort joins ILS with significant tenure in the litigation support services industry. He provided consultation on litigation technology for the firm Williams, Morgan & Amerson, where he assisted with e-discovery processes and project management. Fort also was a director of technology for Encore Legal Solutions where he managed litigation support projects and provided consultation to technical teams on litigation document review standards. Prior to joining Encore, he served as litigation support manager for the Houston office of Howrey, LLP after more than a decade working in document production and imaging, software analysis and project management roles. Mr. Shearer joins ILS to lead the company’s business development. He brings 15 years of legal industry experience to ILS, including sales, management, and business development with companies including Merrill Corporation, RLS Legal Solutions, Stewart Imaging Services, and Compex Legal Services, Inc., and also has an extensive customer service background. ILS provides electronic data discovery (EDD) processing and hosting services using proprietary software solutions.
